Bulgarian rising star Steven Stoyanchov continued his excellent form in the Bulgarian Second League today, finding the back of the net and extending his tally for the season to eight goals, a remarkable return for a young attacker on loan.
Stoyanchov is currently on loan at Etar Veliko Tarnovo from Levski Sofia, where he is gaining valuable first-team experience in senior football. The loan deal, in place until June 2026, has given the 18-year-old centre-forward a platform to develop and make a real impact.
While at Etar, Stoyanchov has shown his natural eye for goal, becoming one of the club’s most important attacking threats. Today’s goal was another example of his ability to produce when it matters.
In a crucial fixture in the Bulgarian Second League, Stoyanchov once again delivered for Etar, slotting home with a goal against Fratria, currently second position in the league. His knack for finding scoring opportunities has been a defining theme of his season, making him one of the most talked-about young forwards in the division.
With today’s strike, Stoyanchov’s goal tally for the 2025–26 season now stands at eight, an impressive figure in a competitive league. His scoring consistency highlights not just his finishing ability, but also his growing confidence and importance to the Etar side.
In addition to his club exploits, Stoyanchov has also made strides internationally. He is a current member of the Bulgaria U19 national team, where he has earned several caps and scored for his country at the youth level. This international experience complements his club form and signals his potential to become a future senior international.
Representing Bulgaria at the youth level has given Stoyanchov exposure to different playing styles and competitive environments, helping accelerate his development as a well-rounded forward.
What began as a temporary move has been, one of the most productive periods of Stoyanchov’s young career. With eight goals already this season and valuable international experience under his belt, he is consistently proving his quality and potential.
As the campaign progresses, all eyes will be on the young Bulgarian as he looks to maintain his form and continue turning heads both domestically and internationally.
